Real estate business is picking up in the Vail Valley!

New contracts written  last month by the brokers of my firm, Slifer, Smith & Frampton Real Estate, totalled more than $89,200,000 ... almost triple the volume written in March 2009 (i.e., $31,700,000). 

And when you take into consideration those transactions in which SSF brokers were involved on both sides (i.e., buyer and seller were represented by SSF brokers), the volume of new written business jumps to $131,300,000.

And just in case you might question whether SSF is the 800 lb. gorilla in the Valley ... of the 87 contracts written, 73 were for SSF listings.

Bachelor Gulch = 6

Cordillera = 3
Red Sky Ranch = 1

$0 - $275,000 = 31
$275,000 - $500,000 = 11
$500,000 - $1 million = 17
$1 million - $3 million = 22
$3 million - $5 million = 3
Over $5 million = 3
